Rowan Smith is a former FBI agent turned crime fiction writer who wakes one morning and finds out that there's a brutal killer using her books as a blueprint for murder. It's soon clear that shes the eventual target and John Flynn is brought in to help his brother Mike to provide bodyguard service.
This is a tense story I couldn't put down because everyone was at risk, Rowan was a big mystery herself and the killer was absolutely ruthless. Unraveling all of the secrets and subterfuge was as interesting as discovering the identity of the murderer. I will be continuing this series and reading more by this author.
