This is such an improvement over the first book. Thank goodness lessons were learned and adjusted for this story. Kyrian and Amanda make a great couple and have many romantic moments, some pretty steamy so be prepared but it's consistent with the surrounding story. It was intimated that there was a reason for their special connection and I'm hoping that's disclosed in a future story. The mythology in the background makes for an interesting present-day interpretation. I'm looking forward to more stories of the Dark Hunters as this was a really good introduction. There's a lot of action and each Hunter has unique skills, which should keep things lively and exciting. There are four groups of bad guys so there should be a plethora of plot lines to keep this series alive. I'm along for the ride.
